If you're looking for a hot pepper to spice things up a bit, you will love the sweet heat of the Sugar Rush Peach Pepper to use in your homemade hot sauces, to spice up salsas, and for adding a kick to your own personal spice rub as a seasoning spice powder. We love to use it as a peach sauce and add to pork dishes. Yum!
Our peppers are home grown using all-organic growing methods and are not picked until at their peak. Once harvested they are rinsed and go straight onto the dehydrator and then stored in a cool dark place with oxygen packets to maintain maximum freshness.
On the Scoville heat index, these are purported to be around the 50,000-100,000 SHU level. This puts the Sugar Rush Peach Pepper Scoville rating between Jalapeño pepper and Habanero peppers. These peppers have very similar heat to a strong Serrano pepper. Rare variety.
Size: Pepper pods are approximately 3-4" long by 3/4" wide and skins are dried / dehydrated. Grown in the USA using all-organic growing methods.

*Warning: We recommend handling peppers with food-safe gloves and washing hands before and after grinding your peppers down. If grinding down to a powder, make sure you are in a well-ventilated area as oils from pepper can still be released into the air. Always use precautionary measures when working with a hot pepper like these. If you buy these, you accept total responsibility.
