Collection: Cool Season Collection [Greens, Veggies, & Herbs]

This collection features greens, vegetables, and herbs that can be planted in the cool season which ideally is 50ºF to 70°F (10ºC - 21°C) in the root zone. If growing in soil, you will want to measure 4 to 6 inches (10-15cm) below the soil’s surface. If growing using hydroponic or aeroponic grow systems such as the Tower Garden, Farmstand or your own DIY system, you'll want your water temp root zone to be ideally 50ºF to 70°F (10ºC - 21°C) in the root zone when the plant is a seedling. (Don't forget to factor in nightly temps!) If you are planting in late summer for a fall planting, be sure to shade seedlings using a 40% shade cloth until heat on warm days subsides. If you're growing indoors using grow lights, you can grow these plants 365 days a year.
